Despite reports to the contrary, Birdman and Toni Braxton are not married. A rep for Braxton revealed as much in a recent statement to Us Weekly.

According to the statement from Braxton's rep, the 50-year-old R&B legend is dating, though the rep wouldn't say whether or not she was dating the Cash Money Records boss. The rep added that Braxton “has a new single called ‘Deadwood’ from her forthcoming album Sex & Cigarettes.' The album is supposed to drop in early 2018.

The statement comes after Jasmine Brand reported earlier this week that Birdman and Braxton had quietly tied the knot.

Rumors of Braxton and Birdman being an item popped up last summer, when Birdman showed up onstage with Braxton during her show at Atlanta's Fox Theater. For her part, Braxton's was pleased with the rumors of her daughter's relationship with the New Orleans legend. She'd known Birdman personally for a good while before the rumors surfaced.

'I met him years ago. Toni been knowing him.. 15 years ago something like that,' Evelyn Braxton said last year. 'Ever since I’ve been knowing that man, he’s been phenomenal. So let me say, I hope so.'

A ka dua meaning. Neither Birdman nor Braxton have said much about their rumored romance thus far, but Birdman did rush to Braxton's side when she was hospitalized for Lupus last year. It's clear they're close friends, at the very least.

In other Birdman-related news, the artist formerly known as Baby is prepping to get his famous face tattoos removed in the very near future. He revealed as much through his Instagram account last week.
